'Aardvark' Art Bitterman's 1960 Series II Land Rover 88"

Art's Series 2 originally started out life as shown above. He bought it whilst he was in the Air Force and stationed in England for 13 years. The inaugural drive home was plagued by the dreaded British "tin worm". Details can be found on Art's website.

Over the last 10 years the list of modifications has run into two pages. For details and an insight into what restoration is all about visit Art's website.

Pretty much everything on the vehicle has been overhauled. On this occasion it was the engine's turn.

Art has plans for the future as well!

Art's introduction to 4WD offroad was in British Quarries. STEEP hills, ponds and MUD! He was hooked.
Having shipped the vehicle back to the US, here he is offroading at the Steamboat Rally.
