Wayne Ellard's Land Rover Series I 1958 LWB Fire Engine

Wayne's vehicle started its working life based at Woomera with Woomera Emergency Services. It's fitted with a 300 gallon per-minute PTO driven
pump.

The vehicle has not been restored and has only done 12000 miles from new. This Series Land Rover vehicle was originally red in colour but it was sold to the SA CFS (South Australia Country Fire Service) in 1971 and was repainted in their colours, being white.

Wayne write's a section for a web page for the Land Rover Heritage Society. He is their Technical Officer on Land Rover Fire Engines in Australia. The website is well worth a visit and Wayne would love to hear anything further on fire engines.

Thanks Wayne
